Resiliency Officer, Yvette Currie, shares the the importance of being resilient on an Aircraft Carrier and how every person can utilize specific skills and strategies for being resilient in your own lives.
Yvette Currie is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, starting her private practice CounselingSanDiego.Org, in 2011, after a 3 year stint in Yokosuka Japan – where her therapy dog “Bear” was a smash.
She then teamed up with the Department of Defense in 2014, touring as a Deployed Resiliency Counselor, assisting sailors with locating their robust resilient resources, while deployed, throughout the world.
Currently volunteering with Alliance for Hope International (Camp Hope), Yvette also mentors youth affected by DV.”
